Dr. Christy Graviet was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She began working in animal medicine as a full-time licensed veterinary technician while attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning her Bachelor of Science in 2009. Dr. Graviet received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University and practices at Desert Inn Animal Hospital in her hometown. She has 3 animals: a pug named Radical, an Australian cattle dog mix named Hoku, and one domestic medium hair feline, Milo. The latter two animals are rescues, while Radical was an inheritance of Dr. Graviet's marriage in 2012. In her spare time, Dr. Graviet is a champion karaoke performer and an adherent to the maxim of Socrates that posits, "the unexamined life is a life not worth living."
