At age 3 Dr. Young decided to be a doctor, but was sidetracked into a successful design career, before eventually returning to her first love, animals. After graduating from Michigan State University, Dr. Young happily returned to her hometown of New York City to practice veterinary medicine. Dr. Young is a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association. When not at Hope Vet, she enjoys gardening, bicycling and woodworking. Her beliefs in animal ethics and welfare led to her becoming a vegan.
