Amy graduated from Medaille College in 1993 with an AS in Veterinary Technology. She worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician upon graduation and was promoted to a supervisory technician role in 1995. She became the Office Manager at All Creatures Animal

Hospital upon its opening in 2003. While maintaining her career as an LVT and Office Manager, she graduated from Daemen College in 2004, magna cum laude, with a BS and MS in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant studies. She was instrumental in opening City Creatures Animal Hospital as well and was promoted to the Hospital Administrator for both facilities in 2009. Presently, she manages both hospitals and fills in as a licensed veterinary technician when needed, in addition to working part-time as a Registered Physician Assistant. She works with her husband, Dr. Albert, in helping care for primates. She has also volunteered at the Buffalo Zoo.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and their German Shepherd and Boxer, Angel and Baxter.
