Dr. Anna hails from Vero Beach, Florida and was an undergraduate at USF in 2007. She went to Auburn University for her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine which she received in 2011. She has been a part of the veterinary medical field since 2002 and an animal lover since birth. Additionally, Dr. Anna graduated from the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in 2012 which trains veterinarians in Chinese Acupuncture. As a childhood hobby, she raised squirrels, trained and showed horses in high school and knew profoundly that she wanted to be a veterinarian while in elementary school. Her love of science and especially wildlife gave her the opportunity to work with the Southeastern Raptor Center while in vet school. She shares her home with five wonderful pets (Chai, Molly, Soffi, Crusty and CK who is really Chai’s kitten). Dr. Anna is married to an orchestral percussionist who also plays in a local cover band. When not caring for her clients’ pets, Dr. Anna may be found camping, hiking, surfing, kayaking or listening to live music.
