Laveta Bryan, DVM joined the staff of Animal Medical Center in 1988. She moved to Amarillo in 1960 and grew up here. She attended Amarillo High School, Amarillo College, WTSU, TTU, UTSA, and Texas A & M. Her hobbies include agility dog showing and scuba diving and she is a member of Amarillo Obedience Training Club. She has 7 pets and no children. Dr. Bryan lives in the country with many dogs and cats and the occasional stray buffalo. Dr. Bryan says that the best thing about working at Animal Medical Center is the variety of challenging cases that she sees. Dr. Laveta Bryan is the only vet that sees exotics.
