Oklahoma State University – 1987

Dr. Gibbs grew up in west Texas and southern Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology from OSU in 1983. Dr. Gibbs has been practicing in the Dallas area since 1989. His professional interests are soft tissue surgery and internal medicine in dogs and cats.

For the last twelve years he has supported and donated time to Whispers of Hope Horse Farm, a therapeutic horse-riding facility for mentally and physically challenged children in the North Texas area. He also volunteers for a feline rescue group in Dallas. .

Dr. Gibbs’ favorite past-times are traveling, camping, photography and grilling. His pets are a chocolate lab named “Bo” and a blue and gold macaw named “Lola”.
