Dr. Molitor developed a keen interest in feline medicine following veterinary school when she discovered cats’ unique medical needs. Dr. Molitor quickly became known as "the cat doctor" in other hospitals because she loved working with them and taking the extra time she felt they needed. Dr. Molitor says, "It’s not that I don’t like dogs, it’s just that cats are my favorite patients." An ongoing goal of hers is to keep up with all the latest changes and new medical information available in caring for feline patients.

Dr. Molitor is a 1983 graduate of Iowa State University and has over 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Prior to coming to The Feline Medical Center, she practiced in Baytown, Texas City, Houston, and California.

To support her goal of staying up to date on feline medicine, Dr. Molitor is a member of the following professional organizations: American Veterinary Medical Association, Cornell Feline Health Center, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Feline Practitioners, and Harris County Veterinary Medical Association.
