Nicole McCready graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, and started working at Camelwest shortly thereafter. In 2006 she took over the position of Managing Veterinarian. She is a member of both the American and Arizona Veterinary Medical Associations, and also an avid member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians. She enjoys caring for cats, dogs, rabbits, rodents, ferrets, and has a special interest in avian medicine. Outside of work, Dr. McCready enjoys camping and fishing with her family, gardening, watching science fiction and anime, and speaks with children at local elementary schools about opportunities in veterinary medicine. She shares her home with her husband, two young children, two cats, a geriatric cockatiel and a brown headed parrot.
