Dr. Sarah McCready is excited to be joining the Downtown Veterinary Hospitals team. Dr. McCready is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and received her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences from the Ohio State University. She continued her education at Ohio State's College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following graduation, Dr. McCready was awarded an internship at the Veterinary Emergency Referral Group in Brooklyn, NY where she developed a special interest in internal medicine, geriatric care and critical care. After completing her internship, she worked in general practice in Brooklyn and has been enjoying general practice care immensely.
Dr. McCready lives in the West Village with her husband and furry best friends Cornie (Cornbread) and Skinny. During her free time she enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring the city, and watching Buckeye football (Go Bucks!).
