Dr. Julie Jones is a proud native of nothern New Jersey.  A self proclaimed  "Jersey girl", she attended Rutgers University-Cook College in 2003.  Upon  graduation, she left her beloved home state to attend Tuskegee University in  Alabama.  She then returned to New Jersey and practiced for 5 years in  Rutherford before making her big move to New York City.  Her professional  interests include surgery and alternative medicine.  Dr. Jones is a member  of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New York City  Veterinary Medical Assocation, and is accredited to write international health  certifcates for animals traveling to other countries through the United States  Department of Agriculture.   In her "spare" time Dr. Jones rides for a competitive cycling team here in the city and can be seen riding one of her three bikes in Central Park.  She is the proud parent to two lovable pooches, Rudy a Border Collie/Lab mix and Lily a Weimaraner.
