Shannon is a graduate of the Professional Veterinary Assistant School and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of California. She has been in the field since 1993 and has a wide range of experience including, small animal, emergency medicine, exotic,wildlife, and some zoo animal familiarity.

Here at Orange Villa Veterinary Hospital she is the Staff Supervisor and is in charge of staff education and training among other things. She has exceptional nursing skills and practices her profession conscientiously and with sensitivity. Shannon is always striving to improve patient care and promotes public health through client education. She continues to further her own knowledge and competence through a commitment to lifelong learning. She also, occasionally gives lectures and assists with labs at the Veterinary Assistant School for those training to be Registered Veterinary Technicians.

In her spare time, Shannon is a Registered Yoga Teacher, loves scuba diving, surfing and snowboarding with her husband and son, and enjoys traveling.
