VetCierge Veterinary House Calls was founded by Dr. Jeffrey Lavine in 2013. VetCierge is a unique house call specific practice serving New York City and Northern New Jersey. Our goal is to bring back the lost art of the family veterinarian by providing thorough, comprehensive and compassionate care to the home when it is most convenient for the owner and pet.
Our premier veterinary services allow our clients and their pets to avoid the inconveniences of an office visit, including scheduling conflicts, transportation, waiting rooms, crowded and hurried hospital experiences, contagious animals and, most importantly, stress on the pet. High-quality VetCierge home veterinary services include full physical exams, wellness care, vaccinations, preventive medications, sick visits, bloodwork, laboratory services, microchipping, environmental and behavioral analysis, health certificates for travel, delivery service, hospice and end-of-life care.
The goal at VetCierge is quality of care versus quantity of patients. In contrast to 15 minute in hospital appointments, the time allotted for a house call visit is typically 60 minutes or greater. We’re available for extended evening and weekend hours with the goal of providing convenient care for our clients and patients. We offer and encourage active communication with Dr. Lavine through digital media such as FaceTime, Skype, texting, social media and e-mail so clients have 24/7 access to their friendly family veterinarian. All appointments are followed by an email summary and phone call from Dr. Lavine.
In addition to our commitment to thorough, accessible and convenient care, we are proud to offer these services at a lower cost than the traditional clinic. Our clients find this unique and relieving as veterinary costs elsewhere continue to rise. VetCierge is also dedicated to helping those in need within the community and we work closely with rescue groups, foster families, shelters and non-profits to provide quality veterinary care.
