Dr. Denise Dawson joined our practice in January, 2011. She has practiced in the Phoenix Valley since moving here in 2000 with her husband, a fellow veterinarian. She is a 1999 graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has worked in the veterinary field for over 20 years. Dr. Dawson spent several years as a full-time doctor in Sun City, but after the birth of their daughter in 2005, she chose to provide part-time and relief services for many different practices in the Valley. Her areas of interest include internal medicine, dentistry, general surgery, and especially feline care. (She has a real soft-spot for the old kitties). Dr. Dawson thoroughly enjoys her patients and teaching owners the finer points of pet care. She feels a well-informed owner results in the best care for their pets so you can count on her to listen and offer detailed advice. Her good-natured disposition and sincerity make her very approachable and we hope you have a chance to meet her the next time you are visiting us!
