Amanda’s dream is to become a Veterinarian.  She is a pre-vet student at UC Irvine. She tells us that her experiences have confirmed that she has chosen the right area to dedicate her professional endeavors to. She enjoys meeting all the amazing and responsible pet parents in our area and seeing how much they value their pets and their pet’s health.  She loves the bond she gets to form with her four-legged patients.  “They really do become a part of our family and there is nothing more rewarding than the look a pet gives you that says “thank you” for helping me”.  She feels fortunate to be able to spend her days learning each patients personality and comforting pets who might be scared or don’t feel well.  She loves to spend time with her own dogs either playing soccer at the dog park, going on long runs, or napping (“they are really good cuddlers”.  Her hobbies include riding bikes to the beach, reading and visiting the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park.
