Dr. Feldman established the Animal Hospital of Kent in 1985. He graduated from Cornell University in 1977 with a BS and received his DVM degree in 1982. He then completed a two year internship at a multiple Doctor Practice in NJ. Dr. Feldman has two sons, David and Robert. Their family also consist of "Lada" a Golden Retriever, "Hansel" a Bearded Collie, "Gretel" a Westie and a Domestic Short haired cat, "Paulie Paws". They also have two Miniature Horses, "Jackpot" and "Foxy", along with two canaries and a Chinchilla. 

Dr. Feldman has been an active member for over 25 years of the American Veterinary Medical Association, The New York State Veterinary Medical Society and the Hudson Valley Veterinary Medical Society. He has also received multiple awards, recognition and certificates for numerous continuing education courses he has attended. 

Just recently, Dr. Feldman and "Lada" became members of "Therapy Dogs International" and on his day off they visit Hospitals and Nursing Homes in the area.
