I'm Dr. Ninon Kafka! I have owned Family Animal Hospital since 2000, and I have been practicing veterinary medicine since 1985. I completed my undergraduate degree at Brandeis University with a B.A. in Chemistry and Physics. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in Chemistry. Shortly after graduation I moved west to attend UC Berkeley where I completed my M.S. in Chemistry.   I then attended Ohio State and received my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1985. I graduated as a member of Phi Zeta veterinary honor society.

Upon completion of my degrees, I returned to the Bay Area. I have lived in Marin County for the past 13 years with my two daughters (who are both now in college!), seven cats and one aging Labrador Retriever.  In my spare time, I enjoy attending estate sales, and visiting with my daughters and friends.
