A native New Yorker Dr. Dijanic (aka Dr. Monica) moved to CT in 2006 after 3 years of working in predominantly small animal hospitals in the Puget Sound area of Washington State.  She got her start as a teenager almost 20 years ago first as a kennel assistant then as a veterinary technician in Brooklyn, NY where she grew up.  After receiving her Biology degree from the College of Staten Island she went on to study veterinary medicine at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St Kitts, West Indies and completed her senior year at the University ofMN's Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Monica has strong interests in internal medicine, senior care, and preventative medicine.  She also hopes to be able to integrate both acupuncture and chiropractic care in the near future.

            She lives  in Vernon with her 2 dogs Wilson and Rowan and her 4 cats  Seamus, Corwin, Aries, and Orion.  When not snuggled up with a dog, cat and book you're likely to find her at Yoga.
