Cate Weber joined the reception team at Cleveland Veterinary Clinic in August of 2005. She was a career federal employee working in the personnel field for twelve years until she started a family and opened her own home child care business. Once she moved to Elgin in 1994, Cate entered the medical field working for a child psychology office in Schaumburg and then transitioned to the veterinary field at Cleveland Veterinary Clinic to be closer to home.

Cate makes her home in Elgin with her husband, Dave, and their three children, Nicholas, Danielle and Jennifer. Her family also includes a Welsh Corgi named Charlie, a Siberian Husky named Homer, three turtles, Isaac, Ace and Jack, two parakeets, Apple and Icicle, two hamsters, Booboo and Snuggles, and a few nameless fish. On her days off Cate enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and gardening.
