Call Us (847) 697-4066Carrie joined the Cleveland Veterinary Clinic family nursing team in July of 2013. Calling animals her “heartstrings”, she has shared her love for them in the veterinary field since 2006. She has worked with all kinds including domesticated exotics and wildlife. She has experience with puppy training and socialization and enjoys working with challenging behavioral cases. Carrie also works weekends and overnights at the Emergency Veterinary Services in St. Charles and is in frequent contact with the H.E.L.P rescue organization, believing that no animal should be left behind.
Carrie has strong interest in unique medical cases and emergency medicine in both animals and humans. She attended the College of DuPage and Good Samaritan Institute, where she earned her Illinois State and national license as an Emergency Medical Technician, and a collegiate certification in paramedicine. She also holds certifications in the American Red Cross CPR/AED, Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals (PEPP), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Geriatric Evaluation and Management Services (GEMS), and Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS).
Carrie has a 1 year old rescued Schnorkie (Schnauzer/ Yorkie mix) “Ruby Lynn”. In her free time, Carrie does freelance graphic design and loves spending quality time with her family, and fiancé Phil.
