Heather Nickel, DVM

Dr. Nickel joined our team in 2012 after working in the Geneva/St.Charles area for eight years. She graduated from University of Illinois in 2000 with her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, then graduated with High Honors to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois in 2004. After seeing the benefits and results of nutrition and holistic therapies with her own family's health, Dr. Nickel has really enjoyed integrating holistic medicine and nutrition into her veterinary care over the past several years.

Dr.Nickel enjoys traveling, hiking, the outdoors, running, spending time with her husband and 2 children. She also has two dogs, Gunnie and Addie, and a FIV+ cat named Tom.
