Gianna is a graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz with a degree in Sociology, a state-certification in Domestic Violence Victims Advocacy, and over ten years of combined experience as a veterinary assistant in emergency veterinary medicine and wildlife rehabilitation.  She is passionate about animal and environmental welfare, education, and enjoys working with people.  Her hobbies include cooking, knitting, beach-combing, and reading.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and her two beloved cats, Nug and Blue.
