Dr. Cross is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. She graduated from the Montgomery Academy in 2000. In 2003, Dr. Cross received her Bachelors of Animal Science, cum laude, from Auburn University, and in 2007 she graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, cum laude. While Dr. Cross has been fortunate to have worked for and with many of Mobile's Veterinarians.  However, it wasn't until she joined the team at Old Shell Road Small Animal Hospital in 2011 that she found her home.  In January 2013, she purchased the hospital from her friend and mentor Dr. Les Greer.

Dr. Cross is an active member of the Mobile Junior League, the Mobile Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Mobile, and is currently the Vice President of the Mobile Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Cross has also served as a consultant for Zoetis, the animal branch of Pfizer. When not working, she and her husband Jonathan enjoy exploring their adopted city, hiking, traveling, and photography. Her current animal family consists of 2 cats, “Roscoe” and “Snip,” and her rescue dog “Ruxin.”
