Dr. Dora Connelly graduated from Georgetown University with a BS in biology and a minor in theology. She studied veterinary medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving her VMD in 2004. Her professional interests include small animal emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and cardiology. She is an active member of the AVMA and Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.

At home, Dr. Connelly keeps busy with her children, dogs, and cats. She also enjoys reading, sports fitness classes, and ice skating.
