Dr. Ash is a specialty trained emergency/critical care clinician at Westlake Village Animal Hospital. His clinical interests include emergency surgery, vehicular trauma, transfusion medicine, snake bites, and rare small animal diseases. Prior to obtaining his DVM from world renowned Colorado State University, where he served as class president, Dr. Ash performed molecular research in the UCLA Cardiology Department. After graduation from CSU, Dr. Ash spent 3 additional years receiving advanced specialty training in small animal surgery, internal medicine, and emergency/critical care. 

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Ash is an avid photographer. He also donates his time to animal rescue groups when not in the ER. A techie at heart, Dr. Ash also spends a lot of time advising technology startups on the future of veterinary medicine. He loves his job and is excited to be joining the WVAH team.
