Dr. Lindsey Wendt, a native of Los Angeles, graduated from veterinary school at University of California, Davis and then completed an intensive small animal internship in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. In the past, she worked extensively with zoo species and exotic animals that worked in the film and entertainment industry prior to choosing to practice small animal medicine. Her interests lie in internal medicine, dermatology and ophthalmology; however she particularly enjoys fostering the human-animal bond which is what drew her back to small animal general practice.
Dr. Wendt lives with her husband and their tripod pitbull-whippet cross Nala who they rescued from the shelter. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking and going to the beach.
