Dr. John Harrison has been a professional partner with Acacia Animal Health Center since 2008, providing pets with outstanding chiropractic care in the form of Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation.

He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer Chiropractic College and began his chiropractic profession in Encinitas. He has worked closely with athletic trainers and medical physicians, as well as consulted on wellness training and taught anatomy to health professionals. In 2008, Dr. Harrison earned his Certification in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM) and has found that working and serving animals with this technique has been fulfilling and inspiring.

Offering services in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation (VOM), under the supervision of Dr. Bausone, to our patients at Acacia on Saturdays and Tuesday afternoons, Dr. Harrison continues to care for his human patients, offering chiropractic care and exercise therapy at his office in Encinitas.

Dr. Harrison lives in San Marcos with his wife, Kate. They have two married children, Forest and Heather, and three lovely grandchildren. He enjoys surfing, cooking, reading, teaching, photography, and continuing his education ... AKA life!
