Dr. Jin An was born in S. Korea. He moved to LA when he was 11 and has spent most of his life here since. Dr. An’s compassion for animals from an early age made him sure that he would want to grow to become a veterinarian. And so even as a freshman in high school, he was volunteering at various local veterinary hospitals. He received his B.S. in Biology at U.C. Riverside, DVM at Ross University (class 2010), and completed his fourth year clinical rotations at Oregon State University. After finishing at Ross University , Dr. An worked as a general practitioner for a year at a bustling practice, after which he then completed a rotating internship in Torrance, to further train in internal and emergency and critical care medicine.

Dr. An is very glad to be back in his hometown. When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. An spends time deepening his Christian faith and staying active (running, biking, basketball, etc). On Sundays, Dr. An volunteers as a musician at his church as well as teaching in the elementary department.
