Lauren Jurgens started at Suburban Animal Clinic in January of 2013. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Wheaton College in Illinois and is now attending The OSU College of Veterinary Medicine as a freshman. She has previous experience working in a veterinary hospital and a human dental office. She hopes to become a small animal practitioner, possibly specializing in veterinary dentistry. She has two older brothers and two younger brothers. Her parents are both dentists. Her pet family includes Jasmine, a black lab mix, that was a foster dog she adopted this past year.

Lauren wants to be able to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. She wants to gain more hands-on experience at Suburban and be able to put both pets and owners more at ease along with providing a high level of care. Suburban's level of care including progressive therapies and alternative treatments is an important part of what she enjoys most.
