Our receptionist Tammy has had a love for animals from a young age since she was raised helping her parents at their stable and kennel.  also developped an interest in medicine and helping people.  She entered the medical field first as a CNA and later worked as a medical assistant.

While working in the medical field she raised Pomeranians and helped find homeless animals find forever homes.  During this time she rescued her first special needs dog–a one year old epileptic Jack Russell.  This began her desire to work in the veterinary field and mix her desire to help people with her love of animals and medicine.  She currently has 5 special needs dogs including 3 diabetics, a cardiac dog and a hypothyroid/allergy dog.  Tammy’s special interest is in dog behavior and helping owner’s understand what their animals need to have long, healthier, happier lives.
