Emily was born and raised in South Louisiana where hospitality is a way of life. She began volunteering at a veterinary hospital at age 14 where she remained until she could be legally hired. While still in Louisiana, Emily played a huge role in helping run America’s Dog Pit bull Rescue; whom has filmed and been featured on Animal Planet’s Pit bulls and Parolees. Emily and her rescued Pit bull King now call Brooklyn home since making the move in January 2013. Her love and compassion for animals really shines through as the animals reciprocate that same profound love for and trust in Emily. In her downtime, Emily enjoys eating every kind of food possible and finding the hidden gems this city has to offer.
