Dr. Toby Goldman

Dr. Toby Goldman

Dr. Toby Goldman is dad to kids Elana, Jonah, and Shira. Toby grew up and graduated high school in North Hollywood, California. Then came ten years of studying in six schools, and a good dose of adventure travel. He started working full time as a veterinarian in Ohio, January 1992.

Toby has a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, and his DVM came from Ross University, where he spent two years in St. Kitts and returned to finish at Oklahoma State in Stillwater. Toby worked at Colerain Animal Clinic in Cincinnati Ohio for four years.

Dr. Goldman spent a year traveling around the South Pacific with his tent and cook set. His 21st birthday was spent on a remote island in the Great Barrier Reef with friends. He traveled up to the top of the Nile River in Egypt and loves Jerusalem. Toby has skydived out of a Beechcraft and Cessna, and loves scuba diving at night. Traveling around the world gave him a wealth of experiences while meeting incredible people along the way, which has shaped him into the man he is today.

Dr. Goldman put himself through school performing as a juggler and comedian, and still performs on occasion. Toby is a sign language interpreter for the deaf, and knows morse code! He plays competitive softball, and likes to throw disc golf, among many sports.

If, or when, he ever retires, he wants to become a ski bum half the year, and play around the ocean for the other half. He edited the book “Koi For Dummies”, and is frequently published in magazine columns. As an Amateur Radio Operator, he has a passion for radio and talk. His greatest thrill is to educate and motivate kids by speaking in schools.
