Dr. Pearson will be officially joining the practice in January 2014. She is a local and even grew up in Frederick County. Dr. Pearson graduated from Virginia Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2000 and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2004.

Since 2004, Dr. Pearson has been a general practitioner with special interests in internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. She feels it is important to have an open line of communication with clients about their pets and to answer any questions they may have. 

At home Dr. Pearson and her husband Greg raise their two sons Charlie and Joe. They have a wonderful yellow lab, Lilly. Lilly is a special needs dog having only one kidney since puppy-hood. They also recently rescued Ruby, a Heinz 57 mutt who is a great fit to their family. Together they all root for their Hokies, the Orioles, and the Washington Capitals.
