Montague Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1964.  You always see the same veterinarian, because there is one veterinarian, Dr. Richard H. Coburn, graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University, experienced in treating pets for many years.  We are located in a pastoral setting on a country road in northwestern New Jersey.

We are a fully equipped hospital and can perform a variety of diagnostic procedures when and if they need to be done.  We try not to perform diagnostic procedures because they CAN be done.  We strive to employ only those procedures that need to be done for the mutual benefit of the patient and the owner.
