Dr. Polly Dixon considers both Colorado and New Mexico home. She received her undergraduate education in Microbiology at Colorado State University and her Veterinary degree at the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

She graduated with honors and distinguished herself by receiving the Merk award for outstanding clinical performance as a 4th year student. 

Dr. Dixon has been with Highland Park Animal Hospital since 1998 and her areas of special interest include feline and canine internal medicine, clinical pathology and critical care.

She is a member of the Phi Zeta National Veterinary Honor Society, the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Dixon has four cats, Rebel Rambo, Bonzerelli, Groucho and Oliver.
