Dr. Kate Holbert is a native of metro Atlanta. After working for an exotics veterinarian as a technician in high school, she decided to become a veterinarian. She attended the University of Georgia where she received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Science and, later, her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. While there, she managed the wildlife treatment crew and continued to cultivate her interest in exotic companion animals, in addition to cats and dogs.

When she’s not here at the clinic, Dr. Holbert enjoys trail running, knitting and spending time with her domestic short-haired cat Bethany and her dog Wicket.
