Dr. Crystal Bahr was born and raised in Texas.She attended Texas A&M University, obtaining a bachelor of science with highest honors in 2004 and a doctorate of veterinary medicine with high honors in 2008.

After graduation, Dr. Bahr moved with her husband to south Florida and completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Veterinary Specialists of South Florida in Copper City, FL.She worked in the emergency room and general practice at Coral Springs Animal Hospital (located in Coral Springs, FL) until joining the team at Lakeside Animal Hospital in August 2011.

Dr. Bahr and her husband live in Plantation, Fl. They have two crazy beagles named Trixie and Paige, as well as an older greyhound named Teddy
