Originally from Simsbury, Ct., and a short time in Pennington, N.J. Dr. White attended Bates College in Lewiston, Me. He then obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Iowa State University in 1989. After graduation, he was fortunate to have worked with Dr Raymond Weitkamp. Dr. Weitkamp’s 8 years of mentorship provided Dr. White a great learning environment. Dr. White learned many advanced procedures, including TPO, fracture repair, and spinal surgery. He also learned the “art” of practice…Providing excellent care, in an ethical, professional, and friendly manner.

After 18 years working for a corporately owned practice, Dr. White pursued his dream of ownership. That vision led to the Huntington Veterinary Hospital, Inc. A hospital functioning by providing simply the best in veterinary care. Dr. White keeps current with the latest in care, through extensive continuing education.

When he’s not helping your pet, Dr. White enjoys woodworking, metalworking, photography, motorcycling, SCUBA, and water skiing. He is supervised by his cat “Sasquatch”.
